Hollister family accused of selling drugs to students

A Hollister family is accused of selling pot to students out of their home, police said.

After an investigation by Hollister Police School Resource Officer Michael Paddy, a search warrant was issued and investigators said they gathered evidence at the family home in the 1000 block of Victoria Street on Wednesday.

During the raid, officers said they found large amounts of marijuana in several areas, scales and packaging materials.

Four family members were arrested at the home. Sandra Lozoya, 45, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia and child endangerment. Trini Hernandez, 45, was arrested for contributing to the delinquency of a minor and child endangerment. Christopher Lozoya, 18, was arrested for possession of marijuana for sales and his 15-year-old brother was also arrested for possession of marijuana for sale.

Officers said there was an aggressive pit bull living at the home, along with several sick cats. They said the home was unkempt and had illegal construction and wiring. The home has been “red tagged” until repairs are made, officers said.
