UPDATE: Salinas baby and mother reported missing, found

UPDATE 5/12/15 8:27 p.m. According to the Salinas Police Department, Monica Jimenez has been arrested for child concealment and child endangerment. Jimenez was booked into the Monterey County Jail.

UPDATE 5/12/15 6:58p.m.: Salinas Police say that six-months pregnant mother and her nine-month old child have been found safe. Everyone is reportedly doing fine.

5/12/15 5:09p.m.: A Salinas baby and her mother were reported missing Tuesday by their family after leaving without notice, Salinas police said.

Officers said Lexie Cardenas, 9 months, and Monique Jimenez, 28, were last heard from on Monday around 3 p.m.

Family members said Jimenez is 6 months pregnant.
