Salinas firefighters bring smiles to senior mothers

Salinas firefighters got in on the “goodwill” acts this Mother’s Day weekend.

Crews brought smiles to women in Senior Care facilities on both Saturday and Sunday.

It was part of the 21st annual “I Remember Mama” event. Fourteen firefighters and two fire engines delivered more than 120 flowering plants to senior women living at the two Windsor Care Centers.
