Monterey Peninsula agents make drug busts, arrests

Detectives with the Monterey Peninsula Regional Violence and Narcotics Team said it made five arrests and took in drugs for sale from three locations this week.

On Thursday, detectives said a search warrant was served in the 200 block of Carmel Avenue in Marina. They said Rodney Fluker was arrested for possession of powder cocaine for sale.

Later Thursday, detectives said they conducted an undercover operation in the 1400 block of Calaveras Street in Seaside where Marquie Addison was arrested for possession of Ecstacy and Maurice Gamble was arrested for possession of crack cocaine for sale.

On Friday, detectives said a search warrant was served in the 1000 block of Sonoma Avenue in Seaside. Nearly $9,000 was found, along with about seven ounces of cocaine base and evidence of cocaine for sale, detectives said.

Harold English Sr. was arrested on drug charges, and Carl English was arrested at the same location for violating the terms of his probation, detectives said.
