Lunchtime prayer circle at Salinas City Hall

Thursday city leaders and community members gathered in outside between city hall and the police department at noontime to pray and talk about key issues.

Faith-based community leaders as well as council members Jose Castaneda, Tony Barrera and Mayor Joe Gunter gathered for a prayer and addressed on-going issues like officer involved shootings, homelessness in Chinatown, a need for a homeless bill of rights among other things.
