King City arrests man for shooting on Broadway St.

On Friday, King City police said they arrested Cesar German Ledezma, for attempted murder in a shooting on Feb. 17 on Broadway St.

Police said the victim was shot in the leg near King City Cinemas and nearby businesses were placed on lockdown for several hours.

Police said Ledezma is being identified as the shooter and will be charged with several felony charges.

He was arrested Friday after a search warrant at his home with help from the Monterey County Sheriff’s SWAT Team.
