Moss Landing gas leak cleared by crews after evacuations

North Monterey County fire crews said they temporarily evacuated businesses along Sandholt Road in Moss Landing because of a gas leak.

Crews said a forklift hit a gas line on the outside of a Moss Landing Marine Labs satellite location, causing a 3/4 inch break.

Crews said PG&E cleared the area around 10:30 a.m. No one was hurt and the scene was cleared quickly.
