Man accused of killing 2 people sentenced to life in prison

A 23-year-old man accused of killing a 6-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man was sentenced to life in prison for two counts of murder.

On March 23, 2010, Edmundo Pulido was the driver of a car in which another gang member shot at rival gang members. The bullet missed the gang members and struck and killed a six-year-old boy in his home.

The shooter in that case, Berardo Camacho, remains set for trial in March 2015.

A few months later, on Dec. 16, 2010, Pulido and two other gang members drove to Castroville where he shot and killed an 18-year-old-boy with a handgun. Witnesses say they saw Pulido walk up and fire at the victim several times.

He was also sentenced for two separate assaults in the jail.
