Salinas Police: Man arrested at Dubber’s Bar with gun

Salinas police arrested a 24-year-old man at a bar Wednesday night with a loaded firearm.

Officers were called to Dubber’s Bar around 11 p.m. for report of a possible man with a gun. Looking through the windows from outside, based on description, officers could see Estevan Gonzalez, 24, seated with another person near the bar. Police saw what looked like the outline of a gun in his pants pocket.

Officers entered and escorted Gonzalez outside at which time he admitted to having a gun on him. A search revealed a loaded firearm with obliterated serial numbers.

Gonzales was arrested and booked into Monterey County Jail on gun possession charges.
