City of Santa Cruz to install new stop signs

The city of Santa Cruz plans to install stop signs on Gharkey Street at Liberty Street and on Santa Cruz Street at Liberty Street. The move is aimed at improving safety for vehicles, pedestrians and bicycles.

To appeal the stop sign installations, a written appeal must be received by the Dept. of Public Works no later than Nov. 3.

Appeals must be mailed to 809 Center St. Room 201, Santa Cruz, CA 95060.
