Four arrests in Salinas in narcotics investigation

Four people were arrested in Salinas Thursday following a long-term narcotics investigation.

Search warrants were served at addresses on Madeira Circle, Hilltrop Drive, Cherokee Drive and Lincoln Avenue. Salinas police were assisted by officers from multiple law enforcement units.

Officers confiscated a total of five guns, nearly 1.5 pounds of methamphetamine, 16 marijuana plants, 24 grams of heroin, cocaine and nearly $7,000 in cash.

Jorge Gasca, 48, was arrested and charged with possession of narcotics for sale and weapons charges.

Sarina Frias, 41, and Vincenta Flores, 24, were both arrested on suspicion of possession of narcotics. Paul Bruno, 62, was arrested on suspicion of possession of narcotics for sale and weapons charges. All four were booked at the Monterey County Jail.
