Litter removal along Highway 101 from Soledad to Salinas begins Tuesday

A three-day litter removal project along Highway 101 from Soledad to Salinas begins Tuesday.

The project will take place in both directions along the center median of a 25-mile stretch between the Salinas River Bridge and Airport Boulevard in Salinas. Work hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. Minimal delays are anticipated. Work should be completed on Thursday, Oct. 16.

Message signs will be posted to advise motorists about this litter removal project.

This roadwork is being performed by various Caltrans maintenance crews from Salinas.
