Greenfield police investigating fatal Saturday night shooting

Greenfield police are investigating a shooting on Saturday that killed a woman and injured a man.

Police responded to the area of 300 Hutchinson Drive around 8 p.m. and saw a small crowd gathering next to a car.

Inside was 27-year-old Christina Camacho who had been shot multiple times. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

A man who was with her in the car was also shot, and was transported to a hospital for treatment. His condition is unknown at this time and police have not released his name.

Police believe both victims were seated in the car when an unknown suspect approached on foot and began shooting.

Two people dressed in black were seen fleeing the scene on foot. Police believe it may have been gang related.

The investigation is still underway.
