Multiple stabbing victims near Lucia Lodge in Big Sur

A man and woman were stabbed just after 9 p.m. about five miles from Lucia Lodge in Big Sur, according to the Monterey County Sheriff’s Office.

There’s no word yet on their conditions, but a helicopter was on scene to take the victims to the hospital because of how far away the location is.

Deputies later arrested Scott Andrew Alsip, 28, in connection with the incident. He was booked into Monterey County Jail.
