Dollar City in Salinas robbed at gunpoint Monday evening

The Dollar City and More store at 108 Williams Road was robbed at gunpoint Monday shortly before 5 p.m.

Salinas police say three Hispanic males entered the store and one distracted the clerk while the other walked around to the register and brandished a gun, demanding money from the clerk. The third acted as a lookout. They took an undetermined amount of cash and then fled on foot.

The suspects are described as:

Suspect 1: early 20s, wearing a green shirt with a yellow skull on the front and camo pants

Suspect 2: White hat, white long sleeve button up shirt, large belt buckle, gray pants, carrying a black semi-auto handgun

Suspect 3: 30’s, black jacket, black SF hat, black Jordan shoes and blue jeans.

Salinas Police ask anyone who recognizes the suspects to contact the department at 758-7321, or call one the tiplines 775-4222 or 1-800-76-CRIME.
