Sheriff’s deputies investigating shots fired at McDonald’s in King City

Monterey County Sheriff’s deputies responded late Sunday night to a report of a shooting victim at the McDonald’s on Broadway Circle in King City.

Deputies did not locate a shooting victim and it’s unclear if someone was, in fact, struck. The front of the restaurant and a car in the drive-thru were struck, however.

Witnesses reported seeing a white sedan or SUV, possibly a Nissan or a Honda, fleeing from the scene.
