The City of Santa Cruz Public Works Department will begin rehabilitating and resurfacing Laurel Street starting the week of Sept. 8.

Sidewalk and ramp improvements will made on Laurel Street from Mission Street to Front Street, extending approximately 200 feet onto
Laurel Street Bridge.

Work is expected to continue through October, and occasional sidewalk closures will be in place.

Paving and related street work are expected to begin the week of October 6 and continue through early November. When paving begins, drivers should expect intermittent lane closures and limited on-street parking Monday through Friday.

All driveways along the project area are expected to be accessible during construction.
