Amber Alert deactivated, boy found

A boy who was abducted from National City in San Diego County was found around 2:30 p.m Sunday.

Five-year-old Johnnie Melendez was abducted Saturday around 7p.m. California Highway Patrol activated an Amber Alert at the request of the National City Police Department.

The suspect in the abduction was 27-year-old Gladys Suarez according to police.

Police are investigating the circumstances of the abduction.
