Gov. Brown appoints two to Santa Cruz County Fair board of directors

Governor Jerry Brown announced Wednesday the appointments of two people to the state’s 14th District Agricultural Association, Santa Cruz County Fair Board of Directors.

These positions don’t not require Senate confirmation and there is no compensation.

William Barton, 70, of Aptos, previously held several positions at Granite Construction Inc. , served as a controller at Spectra-Flux Inc. , and as a price estimating and budget coordinator at Lockheed Missiles and Space Company. He holds an MBA from Santa Clara University

Also appointed to the position is Anthony Campos, 70, of Watsonville. A former County Supervisor, Campos is an owner of Coldwell Banker Campos Real Estate. He previously served on the Watsonville City Council, the Monterey Bay Unified Air Pollution Control District Board of Directors, the Zone 7 Pajaro Valley Storm Drain District Board of Directors and the Association of Monterey Bay Area Governments, among other boards.
