President plans trip to a California hotspot

The President and First Lady will travel to Palm Springs this weekend after making a stop in Los Angeles to attend a DNC event and deliver the commencement address for the University of California, Irvine.

The President will remain in Palm Springs until Monday.

The White House says Air Force One will arrive Friday in Palm Springs.
