13-Year-Old Boy Shot in Watsonville Friday Night

Police say a 13-year-old boy was shot in the head Friday evening on Loughead Street by a group of males, believed to be gang members.

Police say he is currently in critical condition at a Bay Area trauma center. They also said they don’t suspect the victim was a member of a gang, but the shooting is still being investigated as gang-related.
