Carmel Golf Club Manager Arrested for Embezzlement

Monterey Count sheriff’s deputies say Neal Morton, the office manager at the Tehema Golf Club, is behind bars after allegedly being found responsible for 16 counts of forgery, embezzlement and grand theft.

The amount of money he’s accused of embezzling is more than $33,000.
