Amber Alert Issued for Teen out of Oakland

Police have issued an Amber Alert for a 13 year-old girl who was in a car the was carjacked Tuesday afternoon. There was also an elderly man that was in the car when it was taken, said police.

The car is described as a red or burgundy 2001 Infiniti SUV with a California license plate 6JFM648.

The suspect was described as an African-American male with salt-and-pepper hair, in his 40’s and was wearing a green shirt and blue jeans. He stands at 5’7″ and appeared to be 165 pounds.co

The car was taken outside the Safeway at 4100 Redwood Road, in the Lincoln Square Shopping in Oakland.
