Greenfield Woman Arrested for Attempted Murder
A Greenfield woman was arrested Sunday evening in charges that she tried to stab a man to death on the 600 block of Apple Avenue.
Police said the victim was stabbed several times in the back and was flown to a bay area hospital for treatment of his injuries.
The suspect, Christal Gail Ortiz, was arrested and booked into the Monterey County Jail for attempted murder.
