Stabbing at Salinas Motel Saturday

Salinas police say a family dispute Saturday evening turned violent.

Officers say a 46-year-old man was stabbed in his abdomen area at the Continental Motel on North Main Street.

Police say 18-year-old Aldo Daniel Ramos was arguing with a family member when a neighbor tried to intervene.

That’s when officers say they started fighting, and Ramos stabbed that neighbor, police said.

Ramos is now being charged with attempted murder

The victim is expected to be ok.
