Carmel Valley Dog Park Up for Discussion Again Monday

The issue of a dog park being placed in Carmel Valley will be up for discussion again on Monday at a Land Use Advisory Committee meeting.

The dog park has been a hot issue for Carmel Valley residents for a year now. They think traffic and noise from the park would become a major issue.

Residents also say the park will bring the home values down in the area, but dog park investors are confident they will gain more public support after the project is finished.

If you’re interested in attending the meeting, it will be held at Saint Phillips Lutheran Church, across from the Saints Episcopal day school, Monday at 6:30 p.m.

There will be a visit of the site where the dog park is supposed to go beforehand at 4:00 p.m.
