Seacliff State Beach closed to campers due to heavy surf

The winds and rain are winding down from this weeks storm but the waves are raging and wreaking havoc for some areas of the Central Coast.

While surfers are enjoying the swell, it’s causing some problems for campers at Seacliff State Beach. Heavy surf has scoured the beach, causing the campground to close until at least Thursday afternoon.

Coming up at 6, KION’s Zach McIntyre will have more on the heavy surf and the areas it’s affecting.
