Drunk driver causes rollover accident on street in Santa Cruz

A drunk driver has been arrested after causing a rollover accident on a street in Santa Cruz.

According to Santa Cruz Police, on Tuesday, 26-year-old Agnes Felman of Ben Lomond was driving in the area of Spruce and Front Street when she hit a 2010 Toyota 4Runner and rolled it onto its side. About 50 yards south on Front Street officers located a Toyota Yaris sedan with major front-end damage.

Felman was the driver of the Yaris, and the investigation concluded that she was speeding on Front Street when the car struck the rear end of the 4Runner.

“The odor of alcohol emanated from Ms. Felman and officers found an open bottle of whiskey inside the car she was driving,” said Santa Cruz Police.

The driver of the 4Runner suffered minor injuries.
