Watsonville Tae Kwon Do instructor arrested again for lewd acts with a minor, among other charges

A Watsonville Tae Kwon Do teacher has once again been arrested, after video evidence came to light in his case.

On May 25, 2016, Nemesio Estrada-Alfaro was arrested in Watsonville for Annoying/ Molesting a child under 18, Oral Copulation of minor, Lewd acts with a minor, Continual sexual abuse of a child, Contact minor with intent to have sexual intercourse. Willful cruelty to a child, Contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and furnishing Marijuana to a minor.

While he was out on Bail for that case, on January 31, 2017, Estrada Alfaro was arrested on fresh charges. Those charges included; Willful cruelty to a child, Contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and Furnishing Marijuana to a minor, and Committing a Felony while out on bail.

Those cases both proceeded through the courts through the Preliminary Hearing stage. Nemesio Estrada- Alfaro was held to answer for the charges but released on his own recognizance. The trial date has yet to be set.

This month, new information was provided to Watsonville Police Department regarding the arrest in January of 2017. That information included but was not limited to video evidence supporting additional charges for Nemesio Estrada-Alfaro. Investigators were able to obtain a warrant for Nemesio Estrada-Alfaro for the following charges; Lewd acts with a minor, Oral copulation of a minor, Sex acts with a minor, Video recording sex acts with a minor.

Today, Watsonville Police Investigators were able to locate and arrest Nemesio Estrada-Alfaro in the area of Main Street at S. Green Valley Rd. He was transported to Santa Cruz County Jail for the No Bail warrant on the listed charges.

The 3 victims in these cases were all minors and students of Nemesio Estrada-Alfaro’s Tae Kwon Do studio, T N & H Tae Kwon Do.
