Armed robbery at Marina Dollar Tree, suspect at large

Police are looking for an armed robbery suspect who walked in to the Dollar Tree store in Marina and demanded money.

According to Marina Police, the robbery occurred Monday at the Marina Village Shopping Center. Police said the suspect went into the Dollar Tree around 9 p.m. before the store closed. Employees told police the suspect was wearing a ski mask and was armed with a handgun.

One of the employees told police they were forced to open the safe where an undisclosed amount of cash was taken.

The suspect with the gun was described as wearing all black clothing and a ski mask.
