Santa Cruz Police arrest 18-year-old carrying a loaded gun

Tuesday around 2:11 p.m. Santa Cruz Police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at a residence in the 200 block of Pearl Street.

Police said due to the nature of the call, officers detained Norberto Gonzales of Santa Cruz. During a pat search of Gonzales officers discovered a loaded H&R .22 caliber revolver in his possession.

The officers quickly grabbed the gun and took the suspect into custody.

Gonzales was booked into jail for resisting arrest and carrying a concealed weapon.
