CHP investigates fatal crash near Hollister

A Gilroy woman died Saturday morning when she drove a 2005 Dodge pickup over the yellow lines, across the oncoming traffic lane and off the road into a dirt culvert on SR-25 south of Bolsa Road near Hollister.

Emergency personnel found the driver, whose name was not immediately released, unresponsive and determined she had died of her injuries.

The CHP says an investigation is ongoing and at this time, drugs and alcohol are not suspected as factors in the collision.
