Carmel on ”Happiest Seaside Towns” List

Carmel has made it onto Coastal Living magazine’s top 10 ”Happiest Seaside Towns” list for 2017. The magazine picked the top 10 towns, but it’s asking people to rank them.

According to Coastal Living officials, Carmel was picked for its unique charm and history. The magazine calls Carmel a destination with a lot to offer both residents and visitors. Other cities named include: Dana Point, California, Cape May, New Jersey and Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.

The Central Coast has been on the magazine’s list before. The city of Monterey made it on the magazine’s “Happiest Seaside Towns” list back in 2015. It came in at number 7.
