Driver arrested after meth found in car

A man in Monterey County was arrested Friday night after sheriff deputies found meth and drug paraphernalia in his car, according to the Monterey County Sheriff’s Department’s Facebook page.

Officers stopped the man’s car because of an expired registration. That is when officers discovered that the driver was unlicensed and under the influence of drugs, the post read.

The exact location of the arrest is unknown.

The driver was arrested and taken to jail. His name has not been released yet.
