Salinas police investigate Soledad Street shooting

UPDATE 9/4/16 9:06 PM: Police say they responded to reports of shots fired and found two men, aged 22 and 25, lying on the sidewalk with gunshot wounds. Both victims were uncooperative and were transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. A possible involved vehicle was described as a dark blue Honda with tinted windows, last seen traveling southbound on Soledad Street. Police say the incident appears to be gang-related. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Salinas Police Department.

ORIGINAL POST: Police are investigating a shooting on Soledad Street in Salinas that left two people injured. The shooting happened just after 5:30 p.m. Sunday.

Investigators are at the scene.
