Couple arrested in string of armed robberies on Central Coast

Two people are behind bars after a string of armed robberies in Monterey County, according to the Greenfield Police Department.

Police arrested Julian Gasca on Friday, after a multi-agency investigation revealed that he was behind armed robberies at gas stations in Greenfield, Gonzales and Monterey.

His girlfriend, Kimberly Shackelford, was also arrested as an accomplice.
Two vehicles, one of which was used in the armed robberies were recovered.
