Man shot and killed overnight in Salinas, 24th homicide of the year

UPDATE: 8/22/16 6:00 A.M.An overnight shooting in Salinas leads to the city’s 24th homicide of the year, according to the Salinas Police Department.

Police say 27-year-old Eber Ruiz was found shot in his car just after midnight Monday, in the area of East Lake and Bridge Street. He died there on scene.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Salinas Police Department.
