Pokemon Go comes to the Boardwalk

The Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is bracing for an invasion of Pokemon Go players.

The idea for today’s Boardwalk Pokemon crawl started on a Modesto woman’s Facebook page. The loosely-organized event promises “a chance to meet people and catch some Pokemons.” Around 500 people have indicated they will attend.

KION’s Brandon Castillo is there for the fun and will have a full report tonight at 5 and 6 p.m..
