Watsonville police say teen was stabbed by girlfriend on Union Street

Watsonville police responded to Union Street between Riverside and Front, just before 6:00 p.m. on Monday evening.

They found a 17-year-old Hispanic teenager who had been stabbed in the shoulder.

He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Through the investigation, police learned the teen’s 16-year-old girlfriend is the suspect.

She was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and domestic violence.
