Officials: Dam removal is already restoring Carmel River
Elected officials and stakeholders Monday celebrated the demolition and removal of the San Clemente dam on the Carmel River. The $83 million project, completed last year, is considered the largest dam removal project in California history. Officials say they’re already seeing positive results.
