Naked man arrested near Del Monte Beach in Monterey Sunday night

A naked man was arrested after hiding in the trunk of his car near Del Monte Beach Sunday night in Monterey, according to police.

Officers said 47-year-old Michael Bell was trying to take drugs inside his trunk and a Taser was used to make his arrest. Bell was taken to the hospital and later released.

Police said he will be charged with molesting a minor, drug offenses and failing to follow orders.
