Preliminary results in Carmel Election

Preliminary election results in Carmel show Councilman Steve G. Dallas leading over Kenneth Talmage by 103 votes in the race for Carmel City Mayor.

Voters are also choosing two new council members out of five candidates. Unofficial results show Jan Reimers as the leading candidate with 671 votes, followed by Bobby Richards with 546 votes.

Although these are preliminary results, if Dallas wins the mayoral race, the council would have to appoint his replacement.
