Dog found abandoned and abused in Greenfield, SPCA offering reward for information

The SPCA for Monterey County is trying to find out who pushed a dog out of a car in Greenfield, eventually abandoning it.

The dog is an adult pit bull with cropped ears and he’s suffering from neglect.The SPCA is calling the dog Horton and giving him some much-needed medical care and love.

According to the SPCA, Horton was pushed out of a car near 3rd Street and Apple Avenue in Greenfield Tuesday.

The suspect was driving a newer model white KIA four door sedan and is described as a white adult male with a shaved or bald head.

Abandoning an animal is a crime.The SPCA is offering a $1,500 reward for information leading to arrest and conviction.
