3.1 earthquake hits Central Coast northeast of Soledad

A 3.1 magnitude earthquake hit 18 miles northeast of Soledad Wednesday morning, according to USGS.

The earthquake hit around 4:39 a.m. There were no initial reports of damage or injury.

According to the USGS, the quake occurred at a depth of about 5.6 miles.
