They say the goods came from public storage lockers that were recently broken into. Many of the goods were high priced items like book collections, sports memorabilia, art, jewelry and clothing.

The Sheriff’s Office wants to reunite them with their rightful owners. They’ve been posting pictures of the items on social media. Interest on Pinterest has picked up. As of Friday morning, there were more than 200 followers. Detectives have been inundated with calls.

If you think some of your stolen property may have been recovered, they want you to call and leave a message with them. It’ll help to have your paperwork ready.

“If anyone has any photos or records of property of things that were stolen,” Sgt. Mitch Medina explains, “that’s the things detectives are going to want to take a look at to. Just to help out with the identification process.”

As for the suspect in the case, she was arrested for possessing stolen property and other crimes.
