Two men sought in attack on man in Watsonville Saturday night

Watsonville police is looking for two suspects who beat a man and attempted to stab him Saturday night.

Just before 9:30 p.m., a man walking with a bag of groceries down the 1900 block of Main Street, was approached by two men who attacked him without warning, police said. The victim tried to fight off the suspect but was knocked to the ground.

The victim reported one of the suspects attempted to take away his wallet and at one point a suspect attempted to stab him.

Police said the victim was punched in the head and upper body several times. The victim was able to get away and is okay.

Both suspects were able to run away. They are described as Hispanic Males both 18-years-old.
