Seaside police investigate Wednesday night shooting

Seaside police are investigating a shooting near Kenneth St. and Wanda Ave. Wednesday night.

Officers said several shots were reported in the area and evidence of a shooting was found on scene.

Witnesses said two light colored cars were driving very close to each other, before one person started shooting at the other car. The cars then left the area, witnesses said.

Officers said two unoccupied cars in the 1200 block of Kenneth St. were hit by gunshots.

Police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
