Scotts Valley residents come home to burglary in-progress

On Sunday, Scotts Valley residents came home to a burglary in-progress and interrupted it, police said.

Police are searching for a Hispanic woman driving a gold and brown Toyota van with a scuff mark on the left front fender, police said.

The van also has a blue paper plate that has “Hanlees” written on it in place of a license plate. The image of a similar plate is in the picture above.

The suspect was last seen on Nashua Drive and Hacienda Drive. The news release did not mention that anything was stolen from the home.
