Earthquake hits Napa County

A magnitude 4.1 earthquake hit Napa County Thursday night.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake hit just before 8 p.m. about nine miles north of Napa.

It is the largest quake to hit the area since the magnitude 6.0 earthquake last August.

The Napa Fire Department is urging residents to check their homes for gas leaks and other damage.

There are no reports of damage so far, but people in San Francisco said they also felt the earthquake.
