Morgan Hill bar fight leads to homicide arrest, police say

A man was killed outside of a bar in Morgan Hill after a fight with another man early Wednesday morning, police said.

Officers said they were sent to Morgan Hill Tavern at 17365 Monterey Rd. around 1:35 a.m. for a report of a man bleeding from the head. The man was found on the ground with major head trauma, officers said.

Police said the victim was taken to the hospital where he later died.

Officers said Joseph Haley, 32, of San Jose was arrested. He was booked in the Santa Clara County Jail and charged with homicide.
